Fee Structure
Fee For All Checkrides: $1,000.
Above fee is for checkrides administered at Naples (KAPF), Marco Island (KMKY), or Immokalee (KIMM) airports. Checkrides are available at Marco Island and Immokalee only for applicants who completed their training at flight schools located at those airports. Checkrides at other airports are extremely limited, and considered on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out directly for availability and price.
Cancellation Fee:
A cancellation fee of $500 will be charged for any checkride cancelled less than 72 hours prior to its scheduled time.
An exception will be made if the weather in Naples (or location of the checkride) makes it unsafe or impractical to test. Such a decision on weather will normally be made no more than 24 hours before the checkride, and must be made in consultation with the DPE in order to avoid a fee.
Arrangements must be made with the DPE to pay the cancellation fee prior to booking another appointment.
Retests:

1Retest fee is dependent on the number of maneuvers to be retested, and will be discussed when the appointment is made. If another DPE conducted the first attempt, full fee is required and all areas of operation are subject to recheck.
Payments:
Cash only. Fee will be collected once the applicant has been deemed to be qualified for a test.2
2An additional fee may be charged if an applicant requires a second appointment due to appearing for an appointment prior to meeting the minimum requirements for the certificate or rating sought. Any additional fee will be discussed at the time the second appointment is made.
